SACRAMENTAL  ENROLLMENTS

CONFIRMATION CLASS  2010  

From May 17 - 29, 2010

MONDAYS (May 17 & 24) 7pm - 9pm
WEDNESDAYS (May 19 & 26) 4pm - 6pm
SATURDAYS (May 22 & 29) 9am - 11am

The Confirmands Class of 2010 (those who are in the process of completing their Year 2), are required to complete their sacramental proceedures in the Religious Education Office on either of the above mentioned days before they break for the Summer vacations.

They will return to the Confirmands Classes on Wednesday, September 01, 2010 at 5:00pm. 

Confirmation Class  2010

The Sacrament of Confirmation for the "Confirmation Class 2010",  will be administered on Saturday, November 06, 2010 at 10am in All Souls Church. Archbishop Emeritus, Most Reverend John R. Quinn will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to the "Confirmation Class 2010".

  RE-REGISTRATIONS   -   ENROLLMENT

On basis of vacant seats  for

CONFIRMATION CLASS  2011    or    YEAR 2

From August 16  - 30, 2010

MONDAYS (August 16th & 23rd)

6pm - 8

WEDNESDAYS (August 18th & 25th)

3pm - 5pm

SATURDAYS (August 21st & 28th)

9am - 11am

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. A copy of the original certificate of the sacrament of Baptism
  2. A copy of the original certificate of the sacrament of First Holy Communion
  3. A Parish Envelope with number as a proof of registration into the Parish of All Souls  OR
  4. A Proof of residence within the boundaries of All Souls Parish (Utility bill or Telephone bill)
It is necessary that the parents enrolling their child in the All Souls Parish Religious Education Program be registered parishioners worshipping regularly at All Souls Church, South San Francisco. 
 
There will be a Parents' Orientation meeting on Monday, August 30th at 6pm in the Parish hall. It is important that all the parents of the children registered in the program for the new year attend this meeting.

At the "Re-Registration" process  enrolling into the Confirmation Class of 2011 (Year 2), the parents of the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation, will receive a 'Re-Registration' packet with:

  1. the Schedule of Classes and 
  2. the "Back To School" night: Parents and Students meeting, on Monday, August 30th, 2010 in the Parish hall at 6pm.
  3. the date of Returning: Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7pm for the First Class of the new accademic year,
  4. the Religious Education Program Hand Book and
  5. a Sponsor Form.

The Sponsor Form should be filled in completely. It is expected that those Re-registered into this program (the candidates for Confirmation) will fill in the top portion of the Form and hand it over to their Sponsors. 

The Sponsor needs to sign it in the presence of his or her own Pastor (commonly understood as the Pastor of the local Catholic Church where the Sponsor is registered and worships regularly).

The Pastor of the Sponsor will verify the suitability of the Sponsor, use the Parish Seal, sign the form and return it to the Sponsor, who in turn is expected to return it to the Candidate for Confirmation.

The Sponsor Form is due to be completed and turned in to the Religious Education Office by Monday, August 30, 2010. Failing to turn in the completed  sponsor Form  by this date, will render the candidate ineligible for the program.

The First Day of the Confirmation Class for the new accademic year is September 13, 2010.

The Regular Classes begin with a Prayer Assembly in the upper yard of the Parish Grounds at 7pm. 

The Conference for the Sponsors and the candidates for Confirmation is scheduled in our Parish to be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall.
